Annual Billing

Every paid tier and subscription agent-slot addon can be billed annually at 15% off. You pay once, cover 365 days, and pocket ~1.8 months of free time compared to monthly.

The monthly/annual toggle appears on every subscribe, renew, and addon checkout button on hatcher.host/dashboard/billing . Flip it before you confirm.

Pricing

The annual price is monthly × 12 × 0.85, rounded to 2 decimals:

TierMonthlyAnnualYou save
Starter$6.99$71.29$12.59
Pro$19.99$203.89$35.99
Business$49.99$509.89$89.99

The same 15% discount applies to subscription agent-slot addons:

AddonMonthlyAnnual
+3 Agents$6.99$71.29
+10 Agents$19.99$203.89

Windows

  • Monthly = 30-day window.
  • Annual = 365-day window.

Renewing while active stacks days onto your existing expiry — no time lost. Renew mid-cycle whenever; next expiry = current expiry + 30 (or + 365).

Mid-year upgrades

Upgrading from a lower tier to a higher tier during an active window grants prorated AI Credits for the unused portion of the old tier — regardless of whether the old tier was monthly or annual.

Example: you buy Starter annual ($71.29 for 365 days), and 90 days in you upgrade to Pro. Hatcher grants AI Credits for the remaining 275 days based on the allowance difference between Starter and Pro. The new Pro window starts now, fresh, in whatever period you pick on checkout.

What ignores the annual toggle

  • Founding Member ($99 lifetime) — always fixed, no discount because it’s already lifetime.
  • One-time AI Credit packs — no time window to discount.

Payment methods

The annual toggle applies the 15% discount to the USD amount before converting to the selected supported wallet-token amount or charging the card. The payment rails shown can vary by checkout surface.

When annual is a bad idea

  • You’re not sure you’ll use Hatcher long-term — start monthly, commit later.
  • You expect to upgrade tiers soon — upgrading still prorates correctly (see above), but you tie up cash longer.
  • You’re on Free evaluating the product — obviously keep using Free until you know you need a paid tier.

Otherwise, annual is a flat win: 15% off for the same service.
