Payment Methods

Hatcher accepts on-chain payments and card checkout. Standard checkout settles a one-time charge for a 30-day (monthly), 365-day (annual), or lifetime window. Card checkout does not auto-renew.

The Billing page also offers a separate Solana recurring billing authorization for eligible monthly plan and AI Credit purchases in USDC. It is opt-in and can be cancelled from Billing.

You pick the method on every checkout, at hatcher.host/dashboard/billing . Pricing is displayed in USD and converted on-chain at live rates where relevant.

We never store your card number. Card payments go through Stripe-hosted checkout — we only receive the result. On-chain methods go through your Solana wallet — we only verify the signed transaction.

SOL

Pay in Solana’s native token. Live USD→SOL conversion via Jupiter at the moment of checkout.

How it works

  1. Connect a Solana wallet on the billing page (Phantom, Solflare, or Backpack).
  2. Pick Pay with SOL on any subscribe / renew / addon button.
  3. Your wallet pops up with the pre-filled amount and recipient. Approve.
  4. The backend verifies the transaction signature against the Solana RPC. Feature activates within seconds of confirmation.

What we see

Only the transaction signature and the public wallet address. We do not hold custody of your funds at any point.

Upgrade policy

Tier upgrades do not refund unused cash or tokens. Instead, Hatcher grants prorated AI Credits for the remaining days based on the difference between the old and new tier allowance. One-time AI Credit packs are non-refundable.

Which method should I use?

  • No-wallet setup → Card.
  • Stable on-chain amount → USDC.
  • Native Solana payment → SOL.
  • Partner token → $KAUSA or $ANSEM when the rail is shown.
  • Platform utility token → $HATCHER.

Solana recurring billing

From Dashboard → Billing → Solana recurring billing, you can explicitly authorize eligible monthly tier renewals or AI Credit top-ups in USDC.

  1. Choose the plan or top-up and review the monthly USDC quote and authorization expiry.
  2. Sign the wallet proof and token-approval transaction.
  3. Monitor active or action-required authorizations in Billing.
  4. Cancel from Billing when you no longer want future charges.

Cancelling signs a wallet transaction that revokes the USDC token approval. Because that approval is shared per wallet, cancellation can disable all active Hatcher USDC monthly authorizations for that wallet.
